Maior equipamento hospitalar administrado pela Prefeitura de João Pessoa, o Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel (HMSI) conta com todas as enfermarias e unidades de terapia intensiva (UTIs) climatizadas, proporcionando aos pacientes um ambiente mais confortável.  

Para tanto, o hospital tem investido em intervenções em sua estrutura e equipamentos, além da humanização no atendimento, ofertando, assim, aos usuários da rede municipal de saúde, atendimento especializado com mais conforto e acolhimento.  

O Hospital Santa Isabel possui cinco enfermarias, que integram a Clínica Médica – Santa Ana, Santa Luzia, Santo Antônio, São José e São Paulo, somando no total 36 leitos. Conta também com a Enfermaria Santa Filomena, que faz parte da Clínica Cirúrgica, que recebe os pacientes das salas de cirurgia. Divididas em salas e apartamentos, a Santa Filomena tem 36 leitos. Juntas, a Clínica Médica e Clínica Cirúrgica disponibilizam 72 leitos.  

UTIs – O hospital também conta com 4 unidades de terapia intensiva: São Lucas, Uti 1, UTI 4 e UTI cardiológica São Francisco, que juntas somam 34 leitos disponibilizados aos usuários da rede municipal.  

O aposentado José Clemente da Silva, 66 anos, que está se recuperando de um processo cirúrgico, elogiou o atendimento recebido no hospital. “Além do bom atendimento médico que estou recebendo, ainda tem a enfermaria que é climatizada, o que é muito bom, principalmente numa época de calor como essa. O clima fresquinho me deixa mais tranquilo”, disse.  

Dona Maria José dos Santos, 64 anos, se recupera de uma cirurgia e também elogiou a estrutura do Hospital Santa Isabel em relação ao conforto dos pacientes. “Estou sendo muito bem tratada e só tenho a agradecer”, disse.
