Abertura do Cruzeirão 2024 atrai grande público ao Ginásio Municipal de Sorocaba nesta sexta (12) – Agência de Notícias

Com a participação de mais de 1.000 pessoas, a abertura da 65ª edição do Torneio Aberto de Futsal “Jornal Cruzeiro do Sul” – Cruzeirão 2024, na noite desta sexta-feira (12), no Ginásio Municipal de Esportes “Dr. Gualberto Moreira”, foi uma verdadeira festa para quem é fã deste que é o campeonato mais famoso do interior paulista. A programação contou com atrações voltadas a toda a família, incluindo partidas amistosas, brinquedos infláveis e apresentações culturais.
O evento, realizado pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Esporte e Qualidade de Vida (Sequav), com o apoio da Fundação Ubaldino do Amaral (FUA), aconteceu no Ginásio Municipal de Esportes “Dr. Gualberto Moreira”, na Vila Hortência.
Uma das atrações às famílias sorocabanas foi a homenagem ao jogador sorocabano Paulo Amaral, campeão mundial pela Seleção Brasileira de Futsal Down, disputado na Turquia, além da apresentação de atletas de diferentes modalidades esportivas, que representam Sorocaba em campeonatos oficiais.
Além disso, os participantes prestigiaram partida amistosa entre as equipes Magnus Futsal Sorocaba e a Seleção Sorocabana, contando com a presença especial dos influenciadores Lucaneta e Henry Japa, que disputaram o amistoso pela Seleção Sorocabana. O jogo terminou com a vitória do Magnus (8X3), time que apresentou a taça de campeão da Supercopa Masculina de Futsal 2024, conquistada em março e que garantiu a vaga na Libertadores de Futsal, a ser disputada em maio, na Argentina.
O médico Gustavo Haruo Passerotti prestigiou o evento ao lado do filho Arthur, de sete anos de idade. Para ele, é importante incentivar o esporte desde criança. “Mudei há pouco tempo para Sorocaba e fiquei sabendo da abertura do tradicional campeonato Cruzeirão, então decidi trazer meu filho, que adora esporte, assim como eu, para assistir à partida de hoje. Posso dizer que foi uma ótima escolha para um programa em família”, disse.
Quem compareceu ao evento também colaborou com a campanha “A Fome não é Fake!”, do Fundo Social de Solidariedade (FSS), doando um quilo de alimento não perecível.
Como será o campeonato
A 65º edição do Cruzeirão contará com a participação de 156 equipes, sendo 97 na categoria Principal, 24 na de Veteranos, oito na Super Veteranos, 14 na Master e 13 na categoria Feminino.
Os 156 clubes participantes estão organizados em oito chaves da categoria principal, duas chaves da categoria veterano e o restante em chave única na competição, que podem ser conferidas no site da Sequav: https://esporte.sorocaba.sp.gov.br/destaques/cruzeirao. O torneio será disputado pelo sistema de eliminatória simples, para todas as categorias.
Os times deverão enviar as solicitações de datas, horários e impedimentos para os jogos no e-mail: cruzeirao@sorocaba.sp.gov.br, sempre às segundas-feiras que antecedem as disputas, até às 12h.
As tabelas das partidas serão divulgadas às quartas-feiras, a partir das 14h, no site da Sequav. Mais informações sobre o campeonato podem ser obtidas, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 17h, pelo telefone: (15) 3212-7282 ou pelo e-mail: cruzeirao@sorocaba.sp.gov.br.
