Funjope apoia programação do Dia Estadual da Cultura Afro Paraibana
A Fundação Cultural de João Pessoa (Funjope) está apoiando as comemorações do Dia Estadual da Cultura Afro Paraibana, que acontecem neste domingo (17), na Praça do Coqueiral, no bairro de Mangabeira. A abertura será às 13h, e o evento envolve uma série de atividades, como capoeira e cortejo. O trabalho ocorre de forma integrada com a Coordenadoria de Promoção da Igualdade Racial, vinculada ao vice-prefeito Leo Bezerra.
“Nós temos, na Funjope, um compromisso muito grande de estimular e de acolher a diversidade das culturas da cidade de João Pessoa. E, neste momento de celebração da cultura afro-brasileira, nós não poderíamos ficar omissos”, inicia o diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves.
Ele lembra que a Fundação tem um diálogo constante com o vice-prefeito Leo Bezerra, com a Coordenadoria da Negritude, de maneira que isso represente um abraço e um processo de inclusão das culturas de matriz africana por parte do próprio governo. “A Funjope faz um trabalho de aprofundamento e de identificação e valorização das nossas identidades culturais. Nesse momento, é muito importante estarmos juntos”, acrescenta.
O dia 17 de março foi instituído como Dia Estadual da Cultura Afro Brasileira na Paraíba, em 2009. “Na época, pedimos ao deputado Raniery Paulino, para que se tornasse uma lei, e conseguimos. Colocamos 17 de março em homenagem à ialorixá Francisca das Chagas, mais conhecida como Mãe Chaguinha do Oxum, porque nesse dia é o aniversário dela”, relata a Yá Dagã Mariah Marques, relações públicas do evento.
Ela lembra que já são 15 anos, mas nos dois anos da pandemia o movimento não foi para a rua. É um grande encontro da cultura negra, africana para mostrarmos à população, à comunidade e às pessoas que a cultura sai de dentro dos terreiros da cultura negra, é o maracatu, o samba, o coco de roda, as aruendas, a capoeira. Isso é um grande momento que vivemos”, comemora.
O grupo trabalha também a questão do racismo cultural. “Acreditamos que é preciso dialogar sobre isso e também com a questão da intolerância religiosa porque as pessoas acham que tudo que é nosso é coisa do mal, e nós não cultuamos o mal. Muito pelo contrário. Nós cultuamos a natureza e quem cultua a natureza quer o bem das pessoas”.
Mariah Marques reforça que os Tambores da Paz não são uma religião de matriz africana e sim um encontro da cultura negra, embora nós tenhamos um cortejo que sai do terreiro que idealizou essa questão.
“E nesse momento da retomada, tem uma grande importância o diálogo que nós tivemos com a Funjope, através do professor Marcus Alves. A Funjope sempre foi parceira, mas esse ano está sendo um divisor de águas. Estamos tendo apoio total na questão dos grupos, na estrutura, no diálogo que tivemos também com o vice-prefeito Leo Bezerra, com Thiago Diniz do Orçamento Participativo, com a Coordenadoria de Combate ao Racismo”.
E continuou: “A Funjope foi um divisor de águas porque ela faz esse diálogo com a intersetorialidade e com o movimento. E nós só temos gratidão à Funjope por ter abraçado. Esse é o primeiro ano de muitos que virão dessa grande parceria”, completa Mariah Marques.
Programação – Ao longo da programação, o público poderá conferir a feira preta que estará funcionando desde o horário da abertura. Às 17h, acontece uma apresentação de capoeira, ao mesmo tempo em que começa a concentração do Cortejo Ilê Axé Omilodé, cuja chegada contará com a participação do grupo As Calungas e grupo Aruenda da Saudade.
As atrações começam a se apresentar a partir das 18h30, com o Grupo Ilu Odará. Às 19h, entra em cena a convidada Mestra Mãe Nininha do Coco de Oya, de Pernambuco.
Dentro da programação, acontece também a premiação Juventude de Terreiro O Futuro do Amanhã, às 19h40. Já às 20h, tem o Coco de Oxum. Na sequência, às 20h30, tem o Grupo Raízes e, em seguida, às 21h30, Maria Helena com o Afoxé Oya Alaxé.
