Com atuação coordenada por terra e ar, bombeiros de MS controlam incêndio no Pantanal – Agência de Noticias do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul
A operação do Corpo de Bombeiros para combater o incêndio florestal na Serra do Amolar, no Pantanal, em Mato Grosso do Sul, foi encerrada na sexta-feira (9), após 12 dias de trabalho por terra e ar.
Os bombeiros passaram a atuar na área no dia 29 de janeiro, dois dias após o fogo ser identificado, e no dia 1° de fevereiro o GOA (Grupamento de Operações Aéreas) iniciou o combate aéreo das chamas – com o empenho da aeronave ‘air tractor’ que lançou água em locais onde os bombeiros, em solo, não conseguiam acessar.
Uma equipe de bombeiros militares permaneceu na região atingida pelas chamas, para garantir o monitoramento, mas houve a desmobilização há seis dias. Desde o início da semana, após o controle do incêndio florestal, a área foi tomada por fumaça, oriunda do estado do Mato Grosso, onde também ocorre incêndio florestal.
A atuação contou com o trabalho de 18 militares no local, além da equipe de apoio do sistema de comando de incidentes, composta por sete militares, totalizando 25 bombeiros. Foram utilizadas três aeronaves – para transporte de pessoal, equipamentos e combate com água -, uma embarcação – também utilizada para transportar pessoal, equipamentos e insumos -, materiais tipo sopradores, abafadores e bombas costais, além de tecnologia como drones, smartphones e starlink, tudo para tornar o combate mais efetivo.
A área queimada ultrapassou 4 mil hectares e o controle das chamas foi possível devido a atuação coordenada por terra e ar.
Foram lançados mais de 50 mil litros de água pela aeronave para combater as chamas. Após o controle desse incêndio, uma de nossas guarnições permaneceu no local para monitoramento e interagindo com a comunidade local e ribeirinha da Serra do Amolar.
O uso das aeronaves no combate ao incêndio, além do apoio com uso de tecnologias, contribuiu para o trabalho do Corpo de Bombeiros. A atuação aérea é realizada de forma organizada com o combate às chamas em solo. A ação conjunta contribuiu para controlar o fogo, que é atípico nesta época do ano.
Seminário
A Semadesc (Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente, Desenvolvimento, Ciência e Tecnologia) e o Comitê do Fogo de MS (Comitê Interinstitucional de Prevenção e Combate aos Incêndios Florestais de Mato Grosso do Sul) realizam na próxima semana – nos dias 21 e 22 de fevereiro –, o 1º Seminário de Prevenção aos Incêndios Florestais de Mato Grosso do Sul voltado às entidades e população em geral.
Na ocasião também acontece o encontro de Bombeiros Militares para realização do balanço operacional das ações relativas à temporada de incêndios florestais de 2023, com avaliação dos serviços prestados, e formulação de atividades e ações para o ano de 2024.
Os interessados em participar podem se inscrever, até a próxima segunda-feira (19), nos eventos presenciais – clicando aqui –, que serão realizados no Centro de Convenções Rubens Gil de Camillo.
