Agência Minas Gerais | Aluno da rede estadual recebe medalha de ouro em competição nacional de tecnologia
Tornar o conhecimento científico acessível ao público geral foi a motivação que garantiu a Leonardo Júnio medalha de ouro na Maratona Tech 2023.
O estudante do segundo ano do ensino médio da Escola Estadual Professor Helvécio Dahe, em Ribeirão das Neves, foi o único da rede pública de Minas Gerais a receber a gratificação.
Ao todo, 30 participantes foram premiados com a medalha de ouro. Sendo dez em cada um dos três níveis, correspondentes aos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental, anos finais do ensino fundamental e ensino médio.
O Maratona Tech é uma competição educacional que busca, de maneira interativa, despertar o interesse dos estudantes dos ensinos fundamental e médio pela tecnologia e lógica. Além de impulsionar a inclusão digital, o evento reforça a identificação e formação de novos potenciais.
Professor da disciplina eletiva de tecnologia e inovação, Arthur Motta se sente orgulhoso em ver os alunos brilhando no cenário nacional.
“Estou muito feliz porque estudei nessa mesma escola e me vejo nos alunos. Quero mediar todas as oportunidades que puder para que eles tenham uma experiência valiosa durante a formação escolar”, declara o professor, que incentivou os alunos a participarem da competição.
Sérgio Ricardo, diretor da E.E. Professor Helvécio Dahe e gestor há 20 anos, destaca a importância das disciplinas eletivas na formação dos alunos.
“Fico satisfeito em ver o empenho do professor com as disciplinas eletivas do novo ensino médio. O Arthur se dedicou e contagiou os alunos. A educação transforma realidades”, pontua o diretor.
Proposta de ouro
Descomplicar os saberes técnicos da ciência levou Leonardo Júnio, medalhista de ouro, a apresentar sua perspectiva de futuro norteada pela profissão desejada.
As áreas de informática e química são as que mais chamam a atenção do jovem.
“Ser o único representante de Minas Gerais foi um tanto quanto surpreendente para mim, apesar de saber o meu potencial. Durante a busca sobre qual profissão desejo seguir fiquei bastante indeciso, até que me identifiquei com a química. Escolhi essa profissão justamente porque os divulgadores científicos têm a oportunidade de disseminar informações de maneira acessível, tornando conceitos complexos em conteúdos compreensíveis para o público em geral” afirma o aluno empolgado com o resultado.
Fases da competição
Na primeira fase, os inscritos passaram por formação on-line, aplicaram os conteúdos em sala de aula e selecionaram os estudantes com melhor desempenho.
Já na segunda etapa, os alunos das 2,7 mil escolas inscritas pelo país receberam conteúdos e testes sobre tecnologia e inovação, sendo que as respostas corretas somaram pontos para a próxima fase.
A terceira e última fase consagrou os competidores que tiveram as propostas de maior destaque no evento. A cerimônia foi transmitida pelo canal do YouTube do Maratona Tech e pode ser conferida pelo link.
Outros estudantes medalhistas
Maria Eduarda Balieiro e Estefany Vimieiro, também da E.E. Professor Helvécio Dahe, na Região Metropolitana de BH, ganharam medalha de bronze na categoria ensino médio.
Rafael Cristian Gonçalves, da E.E. Juliana Catarina da Silveira, no município de Datas, região Central do Estado, foi reconhecido com a medalha de prata, também na categoria ensino médio.
Todos os medalhistas foram certificados.
Já Leonardo Júnio e os demais medalhistas de ouro receberam, além da hospedagem e passagem para a premiação em Salvador, um notebook e cursos oferecidos pelos patrocinadores.
Os professores orientadores também foram reconhecidos com tais cursos, voltados para ciência de dados, programação, cibersegurança e outras temáticas.
A escola dos premiados recebeu ainda a honraria de “escola destaque”, pelo número de participantes no pódio.
